But now it looks like World's a big fake
And we are living under a fear

I heard them sing " FUTURE NEVER DIES"
But tell me something isn't this present just another lie
Then they said "ITS THE TIME OF YOUR LIFE"
I answd "u r another AMERICAN IDIOT without a sign of life"

I heard some one say
"This fear drives me on"
But, my friend, its just another way
To say Dusk is better than Dawn

Freedom, we all say, is our birth right!!!!
But to protect it, do we even have the might????
These lines are not here to lift you up
Its just a simple warning that your time's up

If u have the might, then late at night...
When you're all alone have a walk to d danger zone
When they'll put a loaded .59 on your head
You'll say take everything just don't let me be dead

But you still have time to make everything right
So be a man and put up a fight
Coz even if you die u won't be ashamed
And you'll be able to say "WE WILL RISE AGAIN"
