21st Century World

Its the 21st century world
Where young rules the old
Computers tell what to do
Dollar sign you are devoted to!!!!

We look for GOD on screen
And even have dream machines
We are mesmerized
In the hurricane of these times

Nothing left to buy around here
So we ask "What the cost of the body around here?"
Just plug in the man on the rack
And wait for a simple heart attack

Love is just another matter for the talks
Only money is here for the walks
Watching another man falling to die
Here comes another one born to fight

Its the 21st century world
Everyone's here to be rolled
One cries to be rich
Another tries to be hitched

You Came, You Saw, You Conquered....

I came, i saw, i conquered,
Ceasar himself said it best...
Nothing beats the accomplished feeling,
of wearing that victory medal across your chest.


To 'come' is not where the challenge is faced,
Anyone can be where they desire,
To be wanted there is the real triumph,
...that's when you can say that you have conquered.

To see is also easily done,
God gave us all two eyes,
But to really see what others can not,
...that's when you can say that you have conquered.

To know the entire meaning of life...
Dignity, Respect, Self worth...
When you can look up at God and be able to smile,
...That's when you can say you came, you saw, you conquered.

My Last Breath

Slow to arrive here is my final breath, while most die
fast......I long last.
Although wishing and praying and begging and hoping for the soft breeze of mercy to carry me away on feathers pure and unabated.

Godly feathers for my sorrow and anguish has earned them...i believe.
I put it down to make peace.
I say i put it away to show them and be an example for peace. Mountains of dust burst apart washed in very thick red river water.

In this river i waited.

My last breath cometh far to slow.
I have earn it i say, I HAVE EARNED IT!!!!
No answer, no response.

I am in no way immune to it all.

I don't see my feathers nearing...the only light is shining from the sun and no glorious shine is this.
Only another evil torture paining my skin.
My patience wears thin.

Wait forever for my feather but all the while knowing i'm cursed to relive my wait again and again.

I represent the hope of a nation and the birth of a new generation
I represent the children of labor and the high flying business man on tour
I represent the AIDS victims and the poor, the starving and the sore
I represent the white and green, like you've never seen
I am from India and everywhere in between.

We are one , we are the same
We share a common name
I am not ashamed, I raise my head high
I am Indian

I represent the beautiful land and the desert sand
I represent the diverse mix of culture
I represent the dreams of the future
I represent the smiles on the children's faces,
and the choreographed traditional dances

India awakes to a new dawn
Together we can be reborn
And face the future with a stronger determination
Working to find a better solution
I believe in our ability to surpass our possibilities
I believe in our desire for better societies
